Dear New Hope People,
Life brings two major challenges. Do we know the LORD as our personal Savior and LORD? How well do we serve HIM and HIS kingdom in our daily life? Knowing our LORD indicates that we have an active and growing relationship with HIM. This relationship becomes real, important and powerful when we devote ourselves to communicating in prayer, to seeking to grow through worship and Bible study, and to discover HIS will for our life.
How well we serve GOD reflects the depths of our spiritual relationship and the joy of our salvation. It also proclaims the GOOD News of what Jesus has and is doing in and through our lives.
There have been a growing number of examples of how GOD is at work in our lives and our church. You can see in missions (New York, Andrew, Caribbean, Honduras, Alaska) and others in discipling (40 Days of Purpose and other studies), in ministry (Spring Into Missions and others) and in evangelism.
To hear and see you and especially the children and youth willing to evangelize door to door indicates graphically how the LORD is working in and through your lives.
Remember, we are to bear spiritual fruit in this life. I pray that the Holy Spirit will empower and guide you to serve the LORD more in the time given you.
Yours in Christ,
David Gordon
