Ministers' Messages

April 22, 2005

Dear Church Family,

"Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God." (Luke 5:26) The "Spring Into Missions" revival week was truly amazing and Sprit filled, and for that we give God the praise. I pray you were able to participate in the activities during the spring revival week. If so, I'm sure you too, were richly blessed by God. In addition to that, if you were involved in the weekend mission projects, you were certainly a blessing to someone else. You see God had that weekend planned for you and New Hope long ago. "O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago." (Isaiah 25:1) That's not all. God has even more plans for you and His church. As the Wednesday Night Bible Study "Secrets of the Vine" explained, we need to move from bearing no fruit, to more fruit, to much fruit not only in our personal lives, but through the church as well. I believe the "Spring Into Missions" week was the springboard for New Hope to bear much fruit in the days, months, and years to come. I pray that we move into the summer months, we will find ourselves seeking opportunities to become more fruitful and where our Lord and Savior can be glorified. "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

In His grip,

Russ Bradley

Dear Church Family,

I am certain that you will agree with me when I say that our "Spring Into Missions" revival week was a tremendous blessing. If you were unable to participate, you missed an awesome opportunity to experience God at work through His church. The scripture that comes to my mind with regard to this is Luke 6:38, "Give to others, and God will give to you; you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands - all that your can hold. The measure you use for others is the one God will use for you." (TEV) There are many ways that we can be givers or ministers. Some teach, some share their wealth generously, some preach, some sing, some minister to the needs of others during illnesses. The ways that we can minister to others are too numerous to count, and I invite you to consider the way that you can best minister to God's people. Join us in choir, and see if that is the place God is calling you to use the talents He has given you. Psalm 92:1 says "It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to thy name, O Most High." Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:45 for rehearsal as we prepare to lift our voices in praise to the Lord. Hope to see you there.

Love In Christ,

Melody Bradley
