The church shall maintain programs of Bible teaching; church member training, church leader training, new member orientation; mission education, action, and support; and music education, training, and performance. All organizations related to the church programs shall be under church control, all officers being elected by the church and reporting regularly to the church, and all program activities subject to church coordination and approval. The church shall provide the human resources, the physical resource, and the financial resources for the appropriate advancement of these programs.
The organizational (Sunday School, Discipleship Training) directors shall be elected for a period of one year by the church at the May business meeting, with the term of office to commence on September first. All organizational workers shall be nominated by the nominating committee (except Brotherhood and WMU) and approved by the church. Each November, officers of the church organizations shall submit to the budget and stewardship committee recommendations for the budget expenditures for the next fiscal year. The Brotherhood and WMU shall elect their own leaders and officers and submit names to the church by the August business meeting.
