The initial nominating committee will be comprised of three members, one to be elected each year at the regular business meeting in April. The Sunday School Director and Discipleship Training Director will, upon election, serve as members of the committee. This committee will be responsible for filling the non-paid church positions from the resident membership. They will select, interview, and nominate the church organization leaders and general church officers. Other nominations may be accepted from the floor. After the organization leaders are elected, they will work with the committee to staff their respective workers. The committee will also select and enlist members for all standing committees, unless otherwise stated. The nominees shall be presented to the church at the August business meeting.
The current committee members are Jackie Porter--Chair (2004); Anna Sanders (2005); and Nick Austell (2006), along with Sunday School Director Bill Cameron. No one currently serves as Discipleship Training Director.
