There will be two cemetary committees, one for the old cemetary and one for the new cemetary. Each will be comprised of three members, one to be elected annually by the church to serve for a term of three years. Persons elected must be at least twenty-one years of age and an active church member for one year. The election will be held at the time of the deacon and trustee election. Members are eligible for re-election. Each committee will be under the supervision of the deacons and responsible for these duties:
To keep all money in interest bearing accounts or investments.
To maintain and manage the cemetary according to rules approved by the church.
To select a treasurer to receive and distribute monies according to rules approved by the church.
To submit an annual report to the church at the January business meeting.
The current committee members of the Old Cemetary Committee are Steve Surratt (2004), Nick Austell (2005), and Gene McCurry (2006).
The current committee members of the New Cemetary Committee are Tommy Gold (2004), Bill Cameron (2005), and Thomas Austell (2006).
