Church Committees

All standing church committee members will be elected by the church annually, and the term of service will begin on September 1, unless specified differently by the church. All committee members should be church members. Committee vacancies may be filled for an unexpired term by the church.

Special committees may be elected or appointed by the church (as the needs arise) by a simple majority vote at any regular business meeting of the church. At the time of creation of any special committee, the area and scope of its functions, duties, and responsibilities will be stated. These committees will terminate upon final report given to the church, unless additional instructions are specified by the church.
